No. Our team will guide you through the setup and handle the technical side, so you can focus on the conversation.

What do I leave with after a session?

You can leave with your raw audio and video files on the day, or choose an editing package and receive finished, ready-to-publish content.

Can I bring guests with me?

Yes. The studio can accommodate different setups, including conversations with multiple guests.

How many people can record at once?

We can comfortably record up to four people at a table, or smaller groups in a lounge-style setup.

Can you help with editing and publishing?

Yes. We offer a range of editing options, from simple file preparation to fully polished episodes. We are also happy to advise on formats and publishing.

What should I bring to my session?

Just yourself and any notes you'd like to reference. We'll take care of microphones, cameras and lighting.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes. If you need to change your session, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Where is the studio located?

We are located at The Studio, 1A Cheapside, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1FY — close to the main A6 with excellent bus and train links from Derby, Nottingham, Matlock and beyond.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

The studio space is upstairs. Due to the age of the historic building, there are no lift facilities, so guests will need to be comfortable using stairs.

How long does a tour take?

Tours typically take around 20–30 minutes. We’ll walk you through the studios, show you the setup and give you plenty of time to ask questions.

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

Not at all. Just show up and we’ll take care of the rest. If you have a specific project or idea in mind, feel free to share it, it helps us tailor the tour to what you actually need.

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a co-host, producer, business partner or anyone else involved in your project.

Will I get to see the studios in action?

Where possible, yes. We’ll show you the full setup including the recording space, equipment and how a typical session runs.

How soon can I book a tour?

We usually have availability within a few days. Once you submit your request, a member of the team will be in touch to confirm a time that works for you.

What happens after the tour?

We’ll follow up with everything you need to make a decision in your own time.

Where are you situated?

We are situated close to the main A6 with lots of buses between Derby and Ripley, making us easily accessible – and Belper has its own train station too, making access from Nottinhgam / Derby / Duffield / Whatstandwell / Matlock and beyond a doddle.
